China is accepting applications for the Lynk & Co Z20: a compact electric car built on the SEA platform. In Europe, this model debuted in October under the name Lynk & Co 02, and although the five-doors are externally identical, the chemical composition and capacity of the traction batteries, as well as the electric motors, differ. And most importantly, in the Middle Kingdom, a cross-hatch is half as expensive as in Germany or France!

At the start of sales, Lynk & Co Z20 costs from 136 to 151 thousand yuan (equivalent to 18-20 thousand euros). For comparison, in Western Europe prices only start at 36 thousand euros. At the same time, the filling of the Chinese version is somewhat more advanced: the electric motor develops 335 horsepower, acceleration from 0-100 takes 5.3 seconds. The parameters of the European version are 272 horsepower and 0-100 in 5.5 seconds.

The chemical composition of the traction battery in China is simpler: lithium iron phosphate with a capacity of 62 kilowatt-hours. In Europe, a 66-kilowatt-hour nickel-cobalt-manganese battery is used. It is incorrect to compare the power reserve according to different measurement cycles: in China the declared autonomy is 530 kilometers (CLTC), in Europe – 445 kilometers (WLTC). In terms of charging speed, the Chinese option is preferable: from 10% to 80% from a 300-kilowatt source can be charged in 15 minutes, while the European crossover supports 150-kilowatt charging and replenishes energy twice as slow.
The Chinese assessed the real power reserve of Zeekr, Li Xiang and Voyah
Although there is no unification between the Lynk & Co Z20 and Zeekr X, the difference in dimensions is within the margin of error, and the bodies are very similar. At the same time, the “twenty” is more streamlined: the aerodynamic drag coefficient Cx is 0.25 versus 0.28 for the initial Zeekr. Since Zeekr X is considered more “premium”, it is more expensive: from 149 to 199 thousand yuan.
