The new Lepas Auto Brand, which is waiting in Russia, went beyond the limits of China

Indonesia became the first export market for the next Cheri sub -brand, Lepas brands – it was previously registered in Russia. The Russian representative office of Cher is actively sharing the news about Lepas, from which we can conclude that our market is preparing to launch it. The press service said that the foreman of the brand will be the L8 crossover, who will go on sale in Southeast Asia in the fourth quarter of this year.

The premiere of Lepas L8 will be held at the International Auto Show in Indonesia – Indonesia International Auto Show. The crossover will be offered with two options for the power plant – hybrid (PHEV) and traditional gasoline (ICE). In both versions, the all -round is equipped with a row “turbocharging” with a volume of 2.0 liters. The stroke of the hybrid will be more than 1300 kilometers, and fuel consumption is declared at the level of 4.5 liters per 100 kilometers. L8 will have an electric version, which on one charge will be able to drive up to 700 kilometers.

The assumption was announced that Lepas L8 will be technically unified with Tiggo 9 (Tiggo 8L in China). The car interior, which has already lit up in the photographs, recalls the Jaecoo J7 – similarity in a vertically oriented screen of the multimedia system, which operates on the Snapdragon 8155 processor from Qualcomm and supports vocal control based on artificial intelligence.

Earlier it was reported that LPAS has already signed cooperation agreements with 32 strategic partners from different countries, and with another 67 are under active negotiations. There is probably Russia in this list, although this has not yet been officially confirmed.
