At the automobile plant of the AGR holding in Shushary, a test car of the Jeland brand specially created for Russia was assembled. The first model produced was the compact crossover Jeland J6, reports the press service of the automobile plant of the AGR holding.
The assembly shop was formed as a result of a comprehensive technical re-equipment of the plant. Previously installed equipment was completely dismantled at the site, construction and infrastructure work was completed, including the installation of new foundations, modernization of utility networks and installation of a modern conveyor system.
In preparation for entering the Russian market, the companies began to form a dealer network. The geographic presence will cover more than 175 centers in 95 cities of Russia – from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.
The production of Jeland cars is organized at the site in Shushary (St. Petersburg), which AGR acquired in 2024.
The design capacity of the enterprise is up to 100 thousand cars per year. Previously, this site housed the production of General Motors and Toyota automobiles.
