The inexpensive CHERS brand crossover is sold not only in China in Russia, but also in Australia – there it is called Tiggo 4 Pro. It was the Australian version of the model that took part in a series of crash tests according to the Ancap method, including additional tests for the protection of vulnerable road users-pedestrians, motorcyclists and cyclists. The result was impressive: the security of the “state employee” was estimated at the maximum five stars.
The ANCAP technique includes a frontal blow at a speed of 64 kilometers per hour with a 40 percent overlap, two lateral blows, testing chairs by imitation of a hit in the back and a test for the safety of pedestrians, motorcyclists and cyclists. Australian Tiggo 4 Pro ratings are as follows: 88 percent for protecting the driver and adult passengers, 87 percent for protecting passengers-children, 85 percent for the work of security systems and 79 percent for protecting vulnerable road users.
