The revived Volga and Lada Azimut are among the three most interesting new products on the Russian market

The corresponding survey was conducted by the Avtostat agency from February 23 to February 25, 2026, said the head of the company, Sergei Tselikov. The surveyed audience consists of 80% representatives of the auto industry and auto business.

The Umo 5 electric car, assembly of which started at the Moskvich plant, topped the ranking of the most interesting and promising new products on the Russian car market in 2026. The model, created on the basis of the Chinese GAC Aion Y, was voted for by 23% of respondents.

So far, the entire first batch of Umo 5 at a price of 2.5 million rubles has gone to corporate taxi fleets, and the issue of sales to private clients remains open, Tselikov noted.

The top three also included the revived Volga (18%) with the K40, K50 and C50 models and the new Lada Azimut (14%).

At the same time, the high-profile project of the domestic electric car “Atom” received only 3% of the votes, losing even to the newcomer Tenet Plus (7%).

It was previously reported that the revived Russo-Balt is preparing an unmanned version of its van.
