The Russian company ATS presented a methane version of the Wey 80 hybrid minivan

The Tolyatti company ATS has prepared a methane version of the Wey 80 minivan. As Motor magazine learned, the new product is equipped with a metal cylinder with a capacity of 75 liters of compressed natural gas. All other characteristics remained standard.

The price of a minivan, capable of consuming both methane and gasoline, starts from 6.9 million rubles. “Powerful, roomy, stylish and now also economical on methane – an ideal car with a low cost of ownership,” note the authors of the project.

In Russia, the Wey 80 minivan is sold in two versions: 7-seater Premium and 6-seater Business Lounge, the length of which is 5045 and 5405 mm, respectively.

The Wey 80 is equipped with a hybrid powertrain that can operate in both sequential and parallel modes. The system is based on a 152-horsepower 1.5 petrol turbo engine.

The machine is also equipped with two traction electric motors – 177 hp. front and 184 hp behind. The maximum output of this set of units is 487 hp. and 762 Nm.
