According to OTTS, the Senat 900 is a sedan measuring 5.14 meters in length, 1.9 meters in width and 1.5 meters in height. The recipient of the vehicle type approval is the SZPK joint-stock company. The address of the assembly plant in the documents coincides with the address of the former enterprise of the Japanese concern Toyota in Shushary. The presence of OTTS allows the manufacturer to officially produce and sell a car on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov, previously announced plans to restart the Toyota plant in St. Petersburg.
