The Russians transferred the best -selling crossovers cheaper than 2 million rubles

In May in Russia, about 16 thousand foreign crossovers were sold in this price segment, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta with reference to the experts of Gazprombank Autolizing. The first place in the demand was taken by the Haval bestseller – Jolion. However, it was not a fall: compared to last year, sales were sank by 27 percent, up to 4.6 thousand units, and this despite the price reduction of up to 1.9 million rubles and discounts.

The second place among the foreigner-men more than two million rubles was taken by Cher’s Tiggo 4. Its sales compared to May 2024 decreased slightly-by only two percent. Over the past month of the spring of 2025, the Russians bought 4.2 thousand Tiggo 4, which sold at a price of 1.75 million rubles.

The third in the Top was the Belarusian-Chinese Belgee X50. The crossover spread in the amount of 2.4 thousand copies, having lost a third of customers. The cost of the X50 in May started with 1.74 million.

Even more customers – 37 percent – lost Haval M6. It is cheaper than Jolion and was offered at a price of 1.68 million. Changan CS35 is also “in the minus”: 1.2 thousand cars were sold, which is 38 percent less than a year earlier. The price starts with 1.54 million rubles.

Further, the ten are Solaris HC, Kaiyi X3, BAIC X7, SWM G05PRO and SWM G01F. Solaris HC, a copy of the Hyundai Creta, demonstrated an almost 20-fold increase in sales.

The Russian car market, meanwhile, continues to contract. From June 9 to 15, only 15.4 thousand cars were sold – 34 percent less than a week earlier. Lada remains in the leaders, it is followed by Haval, Cher and Changan.
