The secondary market for electric cars in Russia has grown by one and a half times

According to the Autostat agency, in November Russians bought 1,168 used electric vehicles. This is 46 percent more than in the same month last year, when 801 “battery-powered” cars found new owners. The most popular models in this segment are Japanese Nissan, American Tesla and Chinese Zeekr. The rest did not attract even hundreds of buyers, analysts estimate.

Nissan, Tesla and Zeekr account for 70 percent of aftermarket EV sales. In November, Russians purchased 493 used Nissans, 158 Teslas and 147 Zeekrs.

As for models, the Nissan Leaf has long held the lead. Its result on the secondary market for the last autumn month was 482 copies sold. Second place goes to Zeekr 001, which didn’t even reach a hundred, but was close to it. His result was 91 resold units.
