The award was given to the documentary series “RDS GP: Tire Struggle 2”, which tells about the behind-the-scenes life of the Russian Drift Series and its main characters. It won Best Sound at the oldest sports film festival, the Paladino d’Oro Sport Film Festival, which took place from December 9 to 15 in Palermo, Italy, and attracted 65 finalists from more than 40 countries.
“RDS GP: Tire Fight” conveys the tense atmosphere of the Russian Drift Series and competitions, tells about the different strategies of the teams and the confrontation between both experienced pilots and debutants. It tells the personal stories of the heroes, including the stars of world drifting – world racers Arkady Tsaregradtsev, Georgy Chivchyan and Evgeny Losev. The series also stars actor Vadim Galygin, TV commentator Alexey Popov and director of the Russian Drift Series Dmitry Dobrovolsky.

As a result of the selection, the second season of “RDS GP: Tire Struggle” was among the finalists, and one of its episodes was shown on the big screen at the Politeama Theater. The award ceremony, which took place on December 15, recognized entries that demonstrated “a high level of professionalism and originality,” making the series’ win particularly significant.
“This recognition is the result of the joint work of our team, and we are proud that the second season of our series has received such high praise at the international level,” Alexander Kuzmichev, showrunner, producer and director of the series “RDS GP: Tire Wrestling 2.”
