The Shacman X6000 long-haul tractor was presented in Russia for the first time

Chinese truck manufacturer Shacman presented updated 6000 series trucks at an exhibition in Moscow – the flagship X6000 long-haul tractors, H6000 construction trucks and a heavy all-wheel drive tractor. A total of six cars were shown at the stand. In particular, the X6000 4×2 tractor unit received a completely new cab. The company calls it a “home on wheels.”

The width of the lower berth in the cabin has been increased to 110 cm, and a folding shelf with a fixed side has been added on top. A touch screen is used to control the climate, multimedia and all-round viewing system. The analog instrument panel has been replaced by a display; a large tablet is installed on the central screen. The driver’s seat in the truck is equipped with ventilation, heating and two armrests, the refrigerator is complemented by a freezer, and the inverter with 220 V sockets is moved to the passenger side.

The tractor of this modification received a 12.5-liter Weichai diesel engine with 480 hp, meeting Euro-5 standards, which is paired with a 16-speed robotic gearbox. The three-axle tractor of the same X6000 series is more powerful: under the cab it has a Weichai engine with a power of 550 hp, the total weight of the road train is 60 tons.

The H6000 construction line is represented by three machines. The low cabin for them is built on the architecture of the pre-restyling X6000. The driver’s seat is sprung, heated and ventilated. All-round cameras are integrated into the doors and sun visor.

The model line shown in Moscow also includes an all-wheel drive three-axle truck tractor. The permissible total weight of the road train with its participation is 90 tons. It is also equipped with a 550-horsepower diesel engine. The car has leaf spring suspension and drum brakes. Also among the H6000 series vehicles are two dump trucks with a 6×4 and 8×4 wheel arrangement. At the same time, Shacman announced the creation of a single distributor, Shacman Motors, and the end of independent imports. By 2027, the company intends to become a local player with a production cycle in Russia.
