The study has begun: JD Power named 14 reliable electric cars and hybrids

As part of the study, JD Power surveyed 21.1 thousand owners of new electric vehicles and hybrids purchased from May to December 2025. In each of the 14 categories, the model with the fewest problems per 100 vehicles was determined.

Thus, in the segment of small electric vehicles (Small Bev), Wuling Hongguang Mini is recognized as the best. Among compact electric vehicles (Compact Bev Car), Geome Xingyuan won. In the Compact Bev Suv category, the Deepal S05 Bev took first place.

In the segment of mid-size electric sedans (Midsize Bev Car), the Nio ET5 and ET5t became the best. Among the mid-size electric crossovers (Midsize Bev Suv), the Luxeed R7 Bev was named the winner.

In the category of large electric sedans (Large Bev Car), the leader is Xiaomi Su7, and among large electric SUVs (Large Bev Suv) – Xiaomi Yu7. In the premium segment of electric vehicles (Premium Bev), the Nio ES8 is recognized as the best model.

Among the plug-in hybrids (Phev) in the mass segment (Mass Market Phev Car), the Galaxy Xingyao 8 Phev won. In the category of compact hybrid crossovers (Compact Phev/Reev Suv), the Chery Fulwin T9 was named the best.

Among the mid-size Phev SUVs (Midsize Phev Suv), the first place was taken by the Wey Lanshan Phev. In the segment of mid-size SUVs with an extended range (Midsize Reev Suv), the Aito M5 (Reev) became the best. Among the Premium Phev Suvs, the winner was the Aito M9 (Reev). In the category of hybrid minivans (Phev Mpv), Voyah Dreamer Phev was recognized as the best.
