The Tank 300 frame SUV received a new version in Russia with a less powerful engine

Until now, the Tank 300 was officially offered in Russia only with a 220-horsepower engine, reports Za Rulem magazine.

The new version with a 2.0-liter engine developing 218 hp retains all the key off-road characteristics: frame construction, all-wheel drive with differential locks, reduction gear and ground clearance of 224 mm. The front suspension, as before, is independent.

There has been no official announcement from the manufacturer yet, but a modification with a new unit is already included in the price lists for 2026.

In the meantime, the fate of the model in Russia may undergo serious development. Earlier, details became known about negotiations on the localization of production of the Tank 300. If these plans are implemented, the SUV will become the first model of the brand assembled in Russia, which could potentially make it more accessible to buyers.

In the meantime, cars are supplied from China, and their cost varies from 4.15 to 4.9 million rubles, depending on the configuration and year of manufacture.

Earlier, the most popular crossovers that Russians are driving from China became known.
