The new product, which the manufacturer calls the “fifth generation” of the model, has received a noticeably redesigned appearance and is ready to enter the market.
The main visual change is new round headlights connected by an LED strip. Unlike its predecessor, the updated version is offered exclusively with five doors.
Due to the changed bumpers, the dimensions of the car have increased slightly: the length is now 3268 mm (+12 mm), width – 1520 mm (+10 mm), height – 1575 mm (-3 mm). The wheelbase remains the same – 2190 mm. Buyers will be offered three body colors: gray, green and beige. The classic white and black colors have disappeared from the palette.
The updated Hongguang Mini EV is equipped with a 30-kilowatt (42 hp) electric motor. Battery and range data have not yet been disclosed. The cabin, as before, has four seats.
It is expected that sales of the updated five-door version will start in the near future. The price range will most likely remain at the level of the current model: approximately from 44,800 to 50,800 yuan (about 560 thousand – 635 thousand rubles at the current rate).
