Such information with reference to the press service of the “Automobile Plant St. Petersburg” is quoted by the Chinese Cars portal. At the same time, the company cannot confirm or refute plans to expand the model range. The manufacturer experts evaluate current demand, as well as the potential needs of the Russian market.

Xcite cars began to be assembled at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg in January last year. Five months later, the first crossovers called CROSS 7 and 8, collected from CHEY machine tools, entered dealerships. Now, experts believe that the manufacturer has completed the assembly of models.

The press service of the St. Petersburg Automobile Plant reported that it has not yet been made specific decisions on the completion of production. At the same time, the supply of unproveted Xcite crossovers is about ten thousand copies that are idle in factory parking lots.

In mid -April, experts called the number of XCite cars sold in Russia since the beginning of the year. It turned out that the share of the brand in the total sales of cars is less than half a percent.
