Experts believe that the allocated money will be enough only to carry out recovery work by about 60 percent of the federal road network.
According to the road activity plan approved by the government until 2030, the total financing of overhaul and maintenance of federal roads will amount to 2.48 trillion rubles. At the same time, according to the standards, another 1.73 trillion is needed to maintain federal routes. It turns out that the allocated funds are enough to restore and maintain only 58 percent of the highways.
