### Lada Vesta is back In 2024, we waited for the return of the updated Vesta NG – but not the Izhevsk assembly, but the native Tolyatti one. Vesta production was moved to the main AvtoVAZ plant, security systems were imported and all modifications were returned to the assembly line, including the new Sportline – it replaced the outgoing Vesta Sport. Well, in addition, AvtoVAZ launched production [нового мотора 1.8 Evo в связке с китайским вариатором](https://motor.ru/testdrives/lada-vesta-cvt-2024.htm). Next year we expect more details about [кроссовере на базе Vesta](https://motor.ru/news/lada-vesta-suv-spy-08-12-2024.htm), which should become part of the family.
Lada ### The Lada Aura Aura business sedan is another derivative of Vesta. They took a sedan as a basis and “stretched” it, increasing the space in the cabin. Moreover, the increase occurred in the second row, since the car is aimed at officials who travel with a driver. Compared to the standard Vesta, the wheelbase of the Aura has been lengthened by 25 centimeters, the list of comfort options has been expanded, and the interior is lined with genuine leather. Serial production of the Lada Aura was launched in early October 2024 at the plant in Togliatti. This is the most expensive AvtoVAZ model with an internal combustion engine today: prices start at 2.6 million rubles.
Lada ### Lada Largus assembled in Izhevsk Largus was not produced from mid-2022 until the spring of 2024. Since the fall of 2023, AvtoVAZ has moved the assembly of the entire family from Tolyatti to Izhevsk: during this time, more than 1.2 thousand units of equipment have been moved, installed and launched. All this cost the company approximately two billion rubles, that is, twice as much as moving Vesta from Izhevsk to Tolyatti. Now in Izhevsk they produce both commercial vans and passenger station wagons with five and seven seats, including the Cross version.
RIA Novosti ### e-Largus is the first electric car in the recent history of Lada “The first Russian electric car with a domestic battery of deep localization” – that’s right [e-Largus](https://motor.ru/reports/lada-e-largus-report.htm) are described in AvtoVAZ itself. Serial production of electric cars began at the end of September 2024, and before 2025, several dozen “green” cars rolled off the assembly line. The e-Largus, equipped with a 120-kilowatt electric motor (163 horsepower) and a battery pack consisting of two lithium-ion batteries, costs 3.9 million rubles. However, the model is subject to government subsidies, so you can buy an electric Largus much cheaper – for 2.9 million.
Lada ### Lada Niva Sport: more powerful and faster At the very end of 2024, AvtoVAZ announced the start of mass production of the Lada Niva Sport – finished cars are shipped to the subsidiary Lada Sport LLC, which is already responsible for the individual assembly of each copy. The Niva Sport SUV differs from the regular Niva Legend in the settings of the suspension and brakes, as well as the engine – a 16-valve 1.6 unit from Granta Sport, the output of which has been increased to 122 horsepower and 151 Nm of torque. According to preliminary estimates, the sports SUV will cost 2-2.5 million rubles. Available in 2025!
Lada ### Lada Iskra, which everyone is waiting for Well, the most anticipated new Lada product remains Iskra – a promising family of budget cars on the localized French CMF-B platform with imported parts. Production began in the fall of 2024, and sales will start during this year. Iskra has a niche between Granta and the flagship Vesta, and in the future it will completely replace the first.
Lada ### Xcite X-Cross 7 At the end of spring 2024, production of a crossover under the new Russian brand Xcite was launched at the former Nissan plant in St. Petersburg. The model was called X-Cross 7, in which the “seven” hints at which Chinese car was the “donor” for it. X-Cross 7 is produced using the large-unit method: in China, the bodies are welded and painted and components and assemblies are produced, but they are not assembled into a finished car before being disassembled and sent to Russia. Everything arrives in St. Petersburg in containers in parts: the engine separately, the body separately, the chassis and other parts separately.
Xcite ### Xcite X-Cross 8 The second model of the Xcite brand, a larger crossover, also available with all-wheel drive, debuted in the fall of 2024. It is assembled according to the same principle as the “seven”. The X-Cross 8 differs from the “younger” crossover not only in the presence of an all-wheel drive modification, but also in the third row of seats. Both the Xcite X-Cross 7 and X-Cross 8 are sold through the Lada dealer network.
Xcite ### Moskvich 8 The new, fourth model of the Moskvich actually did not have time to enter the market in 2024, but it began to be assembled in the fall, at which time all the characteristics were declassified. This is a seven-seater crossover, which, like other models of the brand, is an analogue of the Chinese JAC, namely the X8 Plus. The Moscow plant will produce one (at least for now) version of the “eighth” with a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 174 horsepower, which works in tandem with a seven-speed “robot”. Front-wheel drive only. We are waiting for prices and the start of sales in February 2025!
Moskvich ### Amber A5 Kaliningrad-based Avtotor also got its own electric car – it was called A5. This is a sedan with a 160-horsepower electric motor mounted on the front axle, which powers a 60.2-kilowatt-hour battery. On one battery charge, the electric car travels 520 kilometers. According to the official version, the A5 was developed “as part of technological cooperation with a foreign partner.” In fact, they took the Chinese JMEV Yi as a basis, for which some of the components were localized. An electric car costs 3,399,000 rubles, and you can buy it, for example, [на Wildberries](https://motor.ru/news/amberauto-a5-wildberries-22-10-2024.htm).

The list of equipment will include a set of ADAS 2+ systems with 18 functions, including autonomous parking, a lane keeping system, adaptive cruise control and emergency braking.
Atom
Last year turned out to be fruitful for the domestic auto industry. Moreover, the lead, as you might guess, was AvtoVAZ, which managed not only to return popular models to the assembly line, but also to replace key safety systems with imports, and also to launch mass production of an electric car. The Kaliningrad-based Avtotor also boasted its own electric car, and the startup Atom tirelessly kept it informed of the preparations for the release of its first model. In this gallery we have collected all the new products of Russian brands for 2024.
