Three Changan models left Russia, another one was renamed

The “Chinese Cars” portal drew attention to the changes that have occurred in the local Changan model line. The second-generation CS75 Plus, CS85 Coupe and CS95 crossovers disappeared from the range on the brand’s official website, as a result of which the range was reduced from 15 to 12 models. At the same time, the Changan CS55 Plus SUV received a new name – it became part of the Uni line and is now called Uni-S.

The “second” CS75 Plus has been sold in Russia since 2023 and cost 2.85 million rubles. The model was offered with a one and a half liter engine producing 187 horsepower and a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission. At the end of November this year, the new CS75 Plus debuted on the Russian market, and the starting model was removed from the range. The new generation CS75 Plus has two engines to choose from, a 188-horsepower 1.5-liter and a two-liter engine developing 233 horsepower. Both are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. As of mid-December, the model costs from 3,540,000 to 3,899,900 rubles (excluding discounts).

The new Changan CS75 Plus has acquired a top version with a 2.0 engine. Changan Uni-V has two new versions in Russia: prices have been announced. Prices for Changan cars have increased in Russia.

The CS85 Coupe also disappeared from the Changan website – it was sold in the country for two years and cost 3.7 million rubles. Under the hood of the cross-coupe there was a two-liter engine producing 224 horsepower, and the transmission was an eight-speed automatic. There is no direct replacement for this model.

The third model to leave the Russian market was the full-size crossover CS95 in its pre-restyling form – it was replaced with an updated version.

As for the Changan CS55 Plus, it will now be sold under the name Uni-S – the name change was announced a year ago. The CS55 Plus/Uni-S did not receive any new updates, except for emblems: it is still offered with a 181-horsepower 1.5-liter engine coupled with an eight-speed “robot.” The model costs from 2,839,900 to 2,959,900 rubles (for a car produced in 2024).
