Topspeed lists 5 sports cars that will become rare in 25 years

According to the portal, some models are already signaling their collectible value – limited editions, unique technical characteristics and rising prices on the secondary market allow us to make reasonable predictions.

Coming in first place is the 2024 Porsche 911 S/T. The anniversary version, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the 911, became the lightest car in the 992 generation. Porsche engineers equipped the car with a 518 hp engine from the GT3 RS, combined with a manual gearbox. Second place goes to the 2016 Porsche 911 R. Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter boxer engine producing 500 hp, paired with a manual gearbox. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. Today the price for well-preserved copies reaches $459 thousand (about 42 million rubles), while in 2016 a new car could be bought for $186 thousand (about 17 million rubles).

In third place is the 2010 Lexus LFA. Japanese supercar with a unique naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V10 producing 552 hp. Today the price of LFA varies from $700 thousand to $1 million (from 64 to 91 million rubles) with a starting price of $375 thousand (about 34 million rubles).

Next up is the 2022 Acura NSX Type S. The power plant includes a twin-turbo V6 engine and three electric motors, the total output is 600 hp. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes just 2.9 seconds. Over four years, the cost increased from $192 thousand (about 17.6 million rubles) to almost $300 thousand (about 27.5 million rubles).

The 2023 Audi R8 GT RWD rounds out the top five sports cars that do not lose value. The farewell version of the mid-engined Audi R8 supercar, which became the most powerful rear-wheel drive car in the history of the brand. The 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 produces 602 hp, allowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds. As with the NSX, we are talking about the “final” modification of the iconic model.
