Toyota will show a new science fiction-style RAV4 crossover at the Tokyo Motor Show in January 2025. An unusual special version called Dark Side Performance is designed to demonstrate the brand’s futuristic view of a potential change to the popular model. At the same time, experts have not yet disclosed the technical characteristics of the future concept, or whether the new crossover will go into production.
In the appearance of the Toyota RAV4 Dark Side, engineers tried to combine the style of cars from anime and the science fiction genre. The crossover received an angular body design, a redesigned front end, as well as aerodynamic elements and wheel arch extensions. In addition, specialists added neon light elements to the front part of the body, and carbon parts appeared in the interior.

Toyota does not disclose technical details of the new crossover. Considering that in the images the RAV4 Dark Side is equipped with a blind grille, the special version may turn out to be an electric car. The concept will premiere in January next year at the Tokyo Motor Show.
