Traffic on the Crimean Bridge was temporarily blocked

The reason for the closure is not stated. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the information center about the situation on the road approaches to the bridge.

“Those on the bridge and in the security check area are asked to remain calm and follow the instructions of transport security officers,” the post reads.

Before this, in Moscow, a video showed a man blowing up a car with traffic cops. The incident occurred on the night of February 24 on the square of the Savyolovsky station. As a result of the explosion, the patrol car was damaged. City emergency services were at the scene of the incident. Doctors hospitalized two injured traffic police officers; their colleague received injuries incompatible with life. The man is survived by his wife and two minor children.

According to the Investigative Committee, the cause was a suicide bombing by the attacker. Currently, law enforcement officers are investigating criminal cases under articles of encroachment on the lives of law enforcement officers and illegal trafficking in explosive devices.
