Tuners have styled the cheap Toyota Probox station wagon as a Land Cruiser 60 SUV

Japanese tuning studio Goosfam from Niigata Prefecture has introduced a RetroPro kit for 660 thousand yen (about $4,100), which turns the modest Toyota Probox station wagon into a stylization of the classic Land Cruiser 60 Series SUV, reports Carscoops.

The kit includes a new front end with square headlights, a simple grille, a different hood and front fenders, and a bumper with orange turn signals, while the body architecture itself remains unchanged.

RetroPro is available in two design versions: Urban Classic with plenty of chrome details and LifeStyle Retro with black accents. Additionally, the workshop offers painting in vintage shades of beige, brown and light blue, and also installs Goosfam five-spoke alloy wheels in black with off-road tires on the car.

Technically, the car is not modernized – a standard 1.5-liter gasoline engine or a hybrid installation remains under the hood, and the all-wheel drive version is most suitable for the image.

Those who want to get a finished car can purchase it from 2.98 to 3.145 million yen ($18,600 – $20,000) depending on the version; The start of sales is scheduled for July 1.

It is noted that this is not the only such transformation – the competing workshop Hakobanya already offers a “70 Box” set in the style of the Land Cruiser 70 Series.
