UAZ revealed the power of a new conveyor for SUVs and pickups

The Auto-Potok telegram channel found out: the workshop created from scratch allows you to increase production by 10,000 cars a year. We are talking about a separate conveyor, on which the flagship pickup Sollers ST9 will first be prescribed, and in the future, a nozzle SUV under the same brand and “related” JACs. Sollers ST6, ST8 and UAZ products will continue to be produced on the old platform.

The representative of Sollers explained to Motor that the decision to build a new conveyor is associated with technical features: the pickup frame ST9 is significantly different from the ST6/ST8 models. In Russia, all models on the JAC T9 platform will be localized, and you can expect: the new UAZ conveyor will become the main for the entire family of SUVs and pickups. The launch of the site is scheduled for June-July 2025.

New Sollers in Russia: competitors of Largus, Gazelle and … Alfarda Jac revealed the appearance of the SUV, which will be prescribed at UAZ UAZ showed a sketch of an all -terrain vehicle that was supposed to replace Hunter

The Sollers ST9 pickup is already represented, the SUV has been shown only outside, but partial unification by the cabin is likely. It is expected that the Sollers SUV will be distinguished by a three -row laying and seven seats, and on the UAZ conveyor the model will appear in early 2026. Also promised adaptation on Russian operating conditions.

In technology, SUVs and pickups on the JAC T9 platform will differ from UAZ products and the “younger” Sollers: an 8-speed machine and a more powerful gasoline turbo engine are provided. For Patriot, Pikapa and Commercial Sollers models in Russia, a 6-speed automatic is localized.
