Unique sliding camper Beauer 2X presented

The German company Beauer has introduced a miniature trailer 2X, which is designed for traveling couples and small families. This compact trailer can easily double in size when parked and shrink back down for travel. Inside there is a full kitchen, bathroom and sleeping area. The camper weighs only 750 kilograms and costs from 28,990 euros (about 3.2 million rubles).

Beauer has been around for over ten years and makes compact camper trailers. A signature feature is a unique extension system, which allows you to increase the living space several times. Depending on the model, the increase is achieved through one or two retractable modules driven by an electric drive. This allows you to transport a compact trailer, and at your vacation spot get a full-fledged residential module with a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

Despite its compact dimensions, when unfolded, the 2X trailer offers a spacious dining area for five, which converts into a bedroom at night, and a compact but fully equipped kitchen. The 2X kitchen includes an L-shaped worktop with a two-burner gas hob, sink and 90-litre refrigerator, as well as plenty of shelving and cabinetry.

The bathroom of the compact camper has a built-in cassette toilet and shower. The trailer is also equipped with heating and air conditioning.

At the end of 2024, Russian engineers developed the world’s lightest car tent, which weighs only 42 kilograms and has dimensions of 120 by 200 centimeters. This innovative tent provides reliable protection from wind and precipitation, and can withstand extremely low temperatures down to -50 degrees Celsius. This is another example of how modern technology can make travel more comfortable and affordable.
