Vacuum cleaner maker Dreame will release its first car in 2027

The company noted that the brand has moved to the practical stage of implementing its automobile project, codenamed “Start,” IT Home reports.

The project is already in the active development phase. The team has a staff of about 1 thousand people. It is planned that the first model – an electric car in a coupe body – will enter the market in 2027.

This will be a limited series of premium cars with an estimated price of over 1 million yuan (more than 12 million rubles at the current exchange rate). Dreame also plans to release a flagship full-size SUV, which is aimed at competing with models such as Li Auto L9 and Aito M9 (a joint project between Huawei and Seres).

The company is currently evaluating the possibility of using both a purely electric and a hybrid (with range extender) power plant for this model. The third model in the line will be another SUV.

Earlier, in September 2025, Dreame already published official images of its first SUV, naming the Rolls-Royce Cullinan as a direct competitor. The Dreame Nebula Next 01X concept car was also presented with acceleration to “hundreds” in 1.8 seconds.

Dreame Technology was founded in 2017 in China. Initially, she specialized in smart home appliances – robot vacuum cleaners, upright vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, air purifiers. Today, Dreame products are represented in more than 120 countries, and the number of families using its devices exceeds 21 million worldwide.
