On May 21, at the Pokhvalinsky Congress, Sergei Kornilov, the son of a businessman, crashed in an elite Mercedes-Benz SL convertible. The young man lost control and became the culprit of a massive accident. The footage leaked online shows an expensive foreign car with a torn off wheel standing on the sidewalk, and two other cars were damaged.
Before the accident, the driver posted a video on social networks where he was sitting in a restaurant and drinking alcohol. Then he got behind the wheel and admitted to subscribers that he was intoxicated.
“Majors don’t die, any accidents don’t matter to us… (obscene expression ). Let’s buy a new one, come on,” said Kornilov.
The video footage posted shows the 21-year-old driver losing control, flying into the oncoming lane and crashing into the Kia. The impact throws the Kia into the Nissan, and the convertible itself onto the curb. The traffic cops who arrived at the scene found out that during the year the offender had received 161 administrative documents.
The driver’s father, Sergei Aleksandrovich Kornilov, ex-general director of the Luidor Group of Companies, died in August 2024. The entrepreneur’s company is engaged in the production of metal products and special equipment, as well as the sale and maintenance of cars.
