Volkswagen has released the most powerful electric crossover cheaper than ID.4

Volkswagen’s collaboration with Xpeng resulted in the launch of ID production. Unyx 08 is VW’s largest and most powerful electric SUV. Two electric motors produce 496 hp, and the price of the new product was lower than that of the ID.4. Carscoops reports this.

The design of the new SUV is unlike any VW car sold in the West, and that’s not a bad thing. The front end is sleek with intricate LED daytime running lights and black accents. Smooth side lines taper to a modern rear end with an illuminated VW logo. Overall, it measures 5,000 mm in length, 1,954 mm in width, 1,672 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,030 mm.

The car is based on an 800-volt electric platform. Batteries with capacities of 82 and 95 kWh are supplied by CATL. Two modifications are available to buyers: rear-wheel drive with a 308 hp engine. and all-wheel drive with two engines with a total power of 496 hp. This version accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.

Earlier, Russia almost ran out of stocks of two Chinese brands of cars.
