The electric car has a traditional console CROSS Country, an increased road clearance, a softer rear suspension and the decor corresponding to the spirit of adventure. The power plant is two -motor. Prices have not yet been announced.
The first model with the prefix of Cross Country appeared in Volvo in 1997. It was the V70 XC station wagon, which differed from all -wheel drive five -doors with an enlarged road clearance, protective moldings with a vocal and bumpers. The electric EX30 CROSS Country presented today follows the footsteps of the predecessor. There is all -wheel drive by default. And also expanders of arches, optional off -road tires and a black plug on the front line with the topographic map of Mount Kebnekais.
Volvo
The road clearance compared to the usual EX30 is increased by 19 millimeters, the rear suspension is slightly “dissolved”, which should improve sled qualities outside the asphalt. Protective plates are installed in front and rear. For storing bottles, accessories and any small things there are spacious pockets in the doorway, plus, of course, a large sliding armrest with a cup holder, an additional compartment between the front seats and a glove box, for convenience, placed under the central console.
The second row passengers have a separate retractable box, which can also be used in the role of garbage basket. In the trunk – a diagram with the image of what will fit there and what is not. Also, the EX30 Cross Country includes a media system with support for Google services and a set of auxiliary electronics. For surcharge, customers will be offered a Cross Country Experience package, including cross -member for rails, a roof trunk and mudguards.
EX30 CROSS Country is two -motor power, with a return of 428 horsepower and 543 Nm of torque. The battery with a capacity of 69 kilowatt hours allows you to drive up to 427 kilometers on the same charge, although the EX30 Twin Motor Performance, from which the “SUV” got, is slightly higher-up to 450 kilometers.
