After parking in the sun, the interior of the car can become very hot. Experienced drivers recommend a simple way to quickly cool it down: first open all the doors to let out the hot air, then start the engine, roll down the windows and turn on the fan at full power – this will help blow out the hot air ducts. This is reported by expert of the magazine “Behind the Wheel” Alexander Revin.

“If it’s so hot in the cabin that it’s not even possible to start the car, then we advise you to do the following. Open the rear right door. Then intensively open and close the driver’s door several times (it is not necessary to slam it),” the expert said.

Revin shared tips against overheating the car interior. According to him, a few strokes are enough to quickly release hot air. When parking for a long time, you should turn the steering wheel 180 degrees (the upper part is in the shade), use a white seat cover, a curtain under the windshield and deflectors on the windows – they allow you to leave a gap even before a thunderstorm.
