Xiaomi is preparing to premiere the updated SU7 electric car on March 19

At the same time, pre-orders for the car are already open in China. At the pre-order stage, the price varies from 230 thousand to 310 thousand yuan (from 2.55 million rubles at the time of publication).

The head of the company, Lei Jun, confirmed that the first test samples will appear in showrooms on February 13.

Externally, the changes to the updated Xiaomi SU7 are minimal, but the interior has a new steering column, expanded soft trim and LED lighting. Key upgrades are in technology: all versions now feature lidar, a more powerful autopilot processor (700 TOPS) and an enhanced restraint system with nine airbags.

The power plant has also been improved. All trim levels now have a single V6s Plus engine, which increases the power of the basic versions to 320 hp. Charging has also improved significantly. The power reserve for all versions has increased, reaching a record 902 km in the Pro version.

Previously, Russians were given five reasons why the engine does not start in cold weather.
