Sales of Xiaomi SU7 Ultra sedans decreased in China

From March to August, SU7 Ultra sold from 2.4 to 3.1 thousand copies, but then there was a failure: in September only 488 cars were delivered to customers, in October – 130, in November – 80, in December – 45. Although other models of the brand, on the contrary, are showing an increase in popularity.

The SU7 Ultra is a relative of the regular SU7, from which it differs in chassis settings, aerodynamics and power plant. The Ultra has a three-motor engine, with a combined output of 1548 hp. The electric car takes 1.98 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h and 15.07 seconds to reach 300 km/h.

The maximum speed exceeds 350 km/h. For comparison, the much more expensive Taycan Turbo GT electric car has worse performance: peak at 1108 horsepower, acceleration to the first “hundred” in 2.3 seconds, and a top speed (with the optional Weissach package) of 305 km/h.

By the way, the updated Xiaomi SU7 sedan set an endurance record. Xiaomi has unveiled an updated version of its first electric car, the 2026 SU7 sedan.

The main innovations were the transition to a new high-voltage electrical architecture, an increase in the power reserve and the setting of a world record for a 24-hour marathon.
