Following the junior crossover G6, Xpeng has updated the flagship G9 model. In addition to the 800-volt battery with 5C charging (up to 530 kW), the crossover got an autopilot Touring AI, using two NVIDIA Drive Orin chips and, for the first time in the industry, a Lofic camera that allows better distinguishes objects in scenes with complex lighting. The visual recognition range increased by 125%, speed – by 40%. The system works in cities and on highways, and also knows how to park on its own, and does it as an experienced driver.

Standardly G9 is equipped with two -chamber pneumatic suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers. She reads the road forward up to 120 meters up to 1000 times a second and adjusts the stiffness up to 200 times, and also marks irregularities and loads them into the cloud to use data on the following trips. The brake system is assembled on the basis of the Bosch IPB module and its own controller, providing a short response time, only 0.15 seconds, and the braking distance record for the class – 33.9 meters.

Multimedia is now working on the top -end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295, which is almost eight times more powerful than 8155, and the AI ​​Tianji operating system with support for large language models is responsible for the graphics. Up to 95% of the surfaces are upholstered with soft materials – including NAPPA skin. A layer of foam in seats is increased to 26 millimeters. The panoramic roof in the crossover blocks up to 99.99% of infrared radiation and provides maximum sun protection – SPF 100+.
