Xpeng showed photos of the new flagship crossover with Range Rover design

The model, previously codenamed G01, is positioned as a competitor to premium SUVs such as the Aito M9.

The new Xpeng GX, previously codenamed G01, is a large SUV measuring over 5.2 meters in length. In its silhouette, the features of a British SUV are easily discernible: a similar slope of the pillars and a characteristic roof line.

Key design elements include a panoramic glass roof, a fully enclosed front fascia with dual-tier headlights, and a two-piece tailgate popular among other premium Chinese models. At the rear, the crossover is decorated with a light strip that crosses the top of the door. The car is equipped with door handles recessed into the body and chrome-plated alloy wheels.

In one of the pictures you can see the interior. Instead of a traditional dashboard, the driver is offered to use a head-up display (AR-HUD) with augmented reality. According to preliminary data, the salon will have six seats.

The power plant received the official name “Xpeng Kunpeng Super Electric System”. This is a hybrid system with extended range (EREV), the key features of which will be support for charging using 5C technology and a range of over 1000 km in the combined cycle.

Earlier, an expert named the real disadvantage of installing gas equipment on a car.
