An unusual video has appeared on the social networks of the premium brand Geely. The traction capabilities of the updated liftback were tested in a quarry. First, the 43-ton dump truck tried to move the Porsche Panamera, and then the Zeekr 001 with an all-wheel drive 789-horsepower unit took over. The Chinese electric car coped with the task even with a load in the form of an eight-ton excavator.
According to Zeekr, the updated liftback is capable of developing a traction force exceeding 22,000 Newtons, that is, the electric car is comparable in towing capabilities to the Belarus-1220 tractor. However, owners of five-door vehicles are warned against such experiments, because the permissible gross weight of the trailer is only two tons.

A pre-New Year’s commercial should not be taken seriously: it is just a spectacular video that cannot be considered representative. However, the previous successes of competitors do not detract from the merits of Zeekr 001, because the 789-horsepower liftback costs only 269 thousand yuan (37 thousand dollars), that is, in China the model is several times cheaper than all Porsches. This is not the first time that Zeekr marketers have creatively highlighted the strengths of their products: for example, they demonstrated the strength of the Mix minivan by throwing a 2.2-ton container onto the roof.
