Zeekr’s new flagship crossover: first photo

A photo of a full-size all-terrain vehicle in heavy camouflage appeared on social networks. Judging by the temporary optics, we are talking about the first tests of a model with a production body. Insiders claim that the project is codenamed EX1H, although Zeekr’s original plan included the code EX1E. This means that instead of an electric powertrain, they will rely on a sequential hybrid.

Chinese journalists believe that the Zeekr EX1H will be a more luxurious alternative to the Lynk & Co L946, and given the strategy of combining the two companies, the unification looks logical. There is already an example of parallel sales of very similar models: Zeekr X and Lynk & Co Z20 play in the same segment and are even close in design.

A load weighing 2.2 tons was dropped on the roof of the new Zeekr Mix, and that’s why the Zeekr 7X crossover turned out to be cheaper than expected due to frantic demand. The Chinese assessed the real power reserve of Zeekr, Li Xiang and Voyah

However, the Zeekr flagship will have an original exterior in the spirit of the 009 minivan. This is indicated by a characteristic bumper with an angular imitation of the radiator grille. The main competitor of the new product is seen as AITO M9, that is, the Geely holding can release a three-row crossover with a length of more than 5.2 meters. The production plan called for a debut in the second half of 2025, but the transition to a hybrid system may make adjustments.

Currently, Zeekr’s bestseller is the 4.8-meter-long 7X crossover, so expanding the SUV range is natural. Also in 2025, the 007 business station wagon should appear, and in 2026 the line will be replenished with the Beluga minivan and the Grampus crossover. There is no information about what kind of cars these will be.
