At the RM Sotheby’s auction, a rare Jaguar XJ220 changed its owner. This is the same car that spent ten years in Russia in the collection of one of the Samara businessmen. In the 2010s, the coupe was dropped during loading and unloading operations, and the front right side did not require cosmetic repairs. The auctioneers kept silent about the unenviable past.

The most powerful cars of the 90s

An unknown buyer paid a respectable $466,250 for a Jaguar XJ220 at auction in the United Arab Emirates. Other “two hundred and twentieth” have been sold at similar prices in the last two years: cars managed to fetch from 400 to 550 thousand dollars, and special versions went for about 700 thousand in American currency. Auctioneers confirm that the coupe was produced in 1993, it was first registered in the UK in 1997, and in October 2008 the car was sold at auction for the first time.

The two-door car was brought to the Emirates last year.
