According to Milyaev, the construction of the plant began “at present”, but by the next year they plan to complete it. The new site is being built as part of the agreements between the authorities of the region and representatives of GWM, which were reached in the spring.
Then the parties agreed to deepen the localization and construction of the plant for the production of auto components, gearboxes, as well as exterior and interior elements in the Uzlovaya Industrial Park near Tula. At the factory, in which 30 billion rubles will be invested, more than a thousand jobs will be created.
