General Director of AGR Holding Andrey Karagin made a comment about the production plans of the enterprise against the backdrop of existing equipment and Tenet car bodies moving along the assembly line. The company claims that the fire affected only the auxiliary room and did not harm the work process.
In the video, AGR Holding CEO Andrei Karagin said that the fire at the company’s plant (a former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga) did not cause damage to the main facilities. The footage also shows working welding robots and a moving conveyor belt.
“As a result of the incident, no components, equipment, or production lines were damaged, and there were no injuries among the plant employees. The plant is operating as normal, the production program will be completed in full,” Karagin said against the backdrop of the operating assembly line.
The message from the AGR press service emphasizes that the information about damage to the plant’s production equipment is not true and the incident did not affect the manufacturing process of Tenet cars. The Tenet production plan for January is 8,798 cars and will be fulfilled, AGR assured.
Motor previously reported about the fire at the former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga. The Ministry of Emergency Situations identified a short circuit as the possible cause of the fire.
