The official presentation of the updated flagship Mercedes-Benz sedan will take place this evening, but the first image of the new product has already been published online. The Cochespias resource presented a photo revealing key changes in the design of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

The photo, taken, judging by the situation, during preparation for the event, demonstrates a more solid and prestigious appearance of the car.

The photo shows in detail the new lighting technology with characteristic three-beam running lights. The radiator grille has become noticeably larger, received a new filling and a glossy black edging. In the center of the grille is a darkened square that can hide either a taped-on logo or sensors for the driver assistant system. Similar lacquered inserts are visible in the wings.

The front bumper, while retaining its recognizable shape, also actively uses black gloss in its design and has acquired enlarged air intakes. Based on a number of signs, the image may represent one of the modifications of the S-Class from the AMG division. Inside, you can see a relatively compact dashboard and new seats with large headrests.

The manufacturer previously stated that this restyling will be the largest in the history of the model: changes will affect about 2,700 components, which is more than half of the car. Innovations include a new intelligent suspension, as well as a specially developed 4.0-liter V8 petrol engine, which will complement the engine range. In addition, significant power increases are expected for existing power plants.
