Among the six popular Chinese crossovers on the Russian market, the Geely Coolray is the slowest to fall in price. He will save 60% of the price of the same new car after four years of operation and 72% after two. Haval Jolion is also slowly decreasing in price over time.
Haval Jolion, as of the fourth quarter of 2022, turned out to be the leader in maintaining residual value after four years of operation: it will retain 66% of the price of a new one. This means that after selling a four-year-old car, the owner can buy a new one by paying an additional 34% of the price.
Coolray has fallen in price the least in two years. In addition to Coolray and Jolion, the NAPI marketing agency assessed how the Changan CS35 Plus, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Chery Tiggo 4 and JAC J7 will fall in price.
“The most expensive thing to sell in the last quarter was the Geely Coolray, the average price of which was 2.0 million rubles and 1.7 million rubles, respectively,” notes the NAPI study.
Changan CS 35 Plus after two years of operation will retain almost 68% of the original cost, after four – 56%. Chery Tiggo 7 Pro – 66% and 61%, respectively, Chery Tiggo 4 – 66% and 57%, JAC J7 – 66% and 55%.
