The Farizon brand is a commercial brand of the Geely Commercial Vehicles group. As the distributor of these vehicles noted to Motor magazine, Belarusian buyers can purchase Farizon SuperVAN electric vans. There are several configurations to choose from from L1H1 to L3H3, whose capacity varies from 6.95 to 13 m³.

The lithium iron phosphate battery can have a capacity of 67 or 83 kWh, and the output of the single electric motor that rotates the front wheels is 231 hp. The power reserve should reach 450 km, but real figures will be less.

The first cars (still assembled in China) entered the market of a neighboring country last summer, and now a localized version has appeared. However, the interlocutor of Motor magazine found it difficult to clarify which plant launched the production of such electric cars.

The cost of the basic version is 146,900 Belarusian rubles (about 4 million Russian rubles at the current exchange rate), but, according to local rules, the buyer will receive up to 29,000 tax deduction. The car will also be able to use dedicated lanes and park for free.

A parking lot of forgotten Soviet cars was found in a St. Petersburg courtyard. Cars of the new controversial Zubr brand were spotted in Minsk. MAZ will stop producing its most popular buses.

By the way, the previously announced new car brand Zubr, under which they wanted to produce Chinese Forthing cars, does not seem to be entering the Belarusian market. As Motor found out, Zubr’s accompanying dealership business is experiencing big problems.
