The enthusiast’s name is Nathan Paikin and he is a master of custom projects. His new creation is similar to the famous Little Tikes Cozy Coupe children’s car.
The basis was an inexpensive Suzuki Swift, purchased for only 500 Australian dollars. Paikin’s team took a radical approach, ruthlessly shortening the hatchback’s body, cutting out the center section along with the rear doors.
For maximum visual similarity to the original toy, the body was given a plastic texture and painted in the signature contrasting red and yellow color scheme. The wheels were painted white, and the exhaust pipe was moved to the sidewall.
As the creator, who calls himself a “certified butcher,” ironically notes, the project took dozens of hours of cutting, welding, sanding and painting.
The main technical feature of the creation, which received the name Suzuki Sui, was the installation of a real flamethrower, capable of throwing out flames while driving, instead of the standard catalyst.
Despite its functionality, the project was not created for public roads, but for participation in special car shows and festivals.
