Auto mechanics checked the operation of the engine, chassis and electronic control systems. Nikita Rodionov, technical director of the international franchise network of car service centers Fit Service, told Rossiyskaya Gazeta about this.
“According to our analytical service, the increase in the number of visits (day to day) in Moscow and the region occurred on January 26-27, January 31, February 2, 4 and 7. The most active day for car arrivals was Saturday, January 31. <...> This confirms a new trend – more and more car owners prefer to visit services on weekends,” the expert noted.
Over the past two weeks, the average repair bill has increased 31% compared to the same period last year, he said. There is also an increase in calls and requests: the peak days for requests were January 27, 29 and 30.
The most common services provided to Moscow drivers in the period from January 26 to February 10 were diagnostics of the chassis, engine and electronic control systems, changing the engine oil and oil filter, removing and installing the air and cabin filters, spark plugs, troubleshooting electrical equipment, reading fault codes, and replacing the coolant.
