The basic equipment of the popular Russian sedan Chery Arrizo 8 in Kazakhstan is 11 million tenge, which in terms of the current exchange rate equals 1.73 million rubles. At the same time, for the same model in Russia in the initial configuration they are asking 2.87 million rubles. Thus, for the same new car, a Russian overpays by about 1.14 million rubles compared to a Kazakh, Motor magazine found out while monitoring the price lists of auto companies.

At the same time, in the Russian specification Chery Arrizo 8 is equipped with some parameters even poorer. Thus, the Kazakh version already has 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels as standard, while Chery offers 17-inch wheels for the Russian client. Atmospheric interior lighting in the Kazakh version of the sedan is included as standard equipment, but in Russia it is available only in the most expensive modification.

Also, the basic version of the Arrizo 8 sedan in Russia lacks all-round visibility systems, front parking sensors, blind spot monitoring systems, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and lane keeping assistant, a large 12.3-inch multimedia touch screen, and much more that is available in Kazakhstan from the start. The Russian buyer of the most affordable sedan is not entitled to even such a simple option as a folding mirror system, while the Kazakh buyer receives it “as standard”.

Motor previously wrote that Belarusians, compared to Russians, save 1.3 million rubles when purchasing a Geely Monjaro crossover.
