Motorists began to take more care of their cars and save on services, preferring to do everything themselves. This is stated in a joint study by the analytical agency Avtostat and the company VseInstrumenty.ru, received by the editors of Quto.ru.

“At the end of last year, the demand for car wash services increased by 24.4%, for tire fitting – by 17.9%, and for body repair – by 13.8%,” the publication says.

In addition, in 2025, Russians spent about 4 billion rubles on repair tools, and another 1.7 billion rubles on various accessories.

Last year, we also actively purchased oils and lubricants—1.4 billion rubles were spent on them. Popular items were jacks (872 million rubles), auto chemicals (747.4 million rubles), as well as equipment and accessories for car washing – they accounted for 27.4 million rubles.

It was previously reported that the used motorcycle market in the Russian Federation set a record.
