Planned modernization of production continues at the brand’s plant in Yelabuga. Work is being carried out according to the industrialization schedule and includes preparation for the release of an updated model.
“After completion of the necessary technological and organizational processes, the work of the Aurus production site will continue as usual. All social obligations to the company’s workforce will be fulfilled in full,” the company said.
Aurus is the first Russian brand of luxury cars (premium), created within the framework of the state program “Cortege”. The cars were first presented to the public in 2018 at the Moscow International Motor Show. Serial production started in 2021.
The design capacity of the plant allows the production of up to 5 thousand cars per year (full cycle mode with welding and body painting).
