Kazakh motorists buy a crossover from the Chinese JAC brand significantly cheaper than Russians, Motor magazine noted while monitoring the price lists of auto companies.
Thus, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, a new JAC JS6 can be purchased for 9.59 million tenge, which at the current exchange rate is about 1.5 million rubles. This is how much Kazakhstan dealers are asking for the front-wheel drive version of the crossover with a 174-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo engine and a robotic gearbox in the Luxury package. The car is manufactured in 2024, excluding discounts.
In Russia, the JAC JS6 in a similar configuration is offered for 2.9 million rubles. The official JAC price list states that this is the recommended maximum resale price in rubles for cars produced in 2024. Thus, the difference between cars in the EAEU member countries reaches 1.4 million rubles or 48%.
The most expensive version of the JAC JS6 in the Intelligent configuration in Kazakhstan costs 10 million tenge (about 1.54 million rubles); in Russia, a car in a similar Flagship version will cost 3 million rubles. The difference also exceeds 1.4 million rubles.
Earlier, the editors of Motor magazine, having studied the official price lists, found out that Belarusian motorists can purchase a Geely Monjaro significantly cheaper than Russians.
