The car, whose exterior was designed by the Italian studio Pininfarina (known for its work for Ferrari, Maserati and Rolls-Royce), will be offered in three versions with a six- and seven-seater interior, the brand’s press service reported.

The new product is built on the REEV (extended range) hybrid architecture. All versions of the Rox Adamas are produced with an updated Mitsubishi engine-generator, in which the fuel-to-energy conversion efficiency has reached 3.5 kWh per liter. This made it possible to increase the total range to 1.2 thousand kilometers while maintaining the battery capacity at the level of ROX 01.

Pininfarina specialists worked on the design of the car. For Russian conditions, an air suspension is provided, which is said to work stably in frosts down to -43°C.

Ground clearance is adjustable from 205 to 285 mm, which improves geometric cross-country ability: the approach angle is 27.5 degrees, and the fording depth is 770 mm. The company emphasizes that this allows you not only to drive off-road, but also not to be afraid of streets flooded by rainstorms.

For long trips, the Rox Adamas features a built-in 8.5-liter heated and cooled refrigerator that holds up to six bottles or 16 cans. All doors are equipped with closers.

Pre-orders from official dealers of the brand start on March 4. The first commercial vehicles are expected in showrooms by the end of March.

It was previously reported that the revived Russo-Balt is preparing an unmanned version of its van.
