The incident occurred in the center of one of the villages of the Gorokhovets district. This was reported by the Zebra TV Telegram channel.
“In the village of Proletarsky (Denisovo station), a lynx walked literally through the center: the animal, judging by the angle, was captured on the Denisovsky Plant’s surveillance camera. The video was made in the morning hours of February 19,” the publication says.
Footage posted online shows the predator running along a snowy road near parked cars. According to the channel, this year camera traps have already spotted a lynx in the Kovrovsky district – in the Aleshinsky hunting area. This rare species of wild cats, the only one living in the region, is listed in the Red Book of the Vladimir Region and is under protection. According to state monitoring of the number of hunting resources, 37 individuals were counted in 2024, and 27 in 2025.
Previously, cars with people instantly caught fire on the Moscow Ring Road at the time of an accident.
