In the second month of 2026, more than 4.5 thousand new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) were sold in Russia. This was reported by experts from the Autostat agency with reference to data from PPK JSC and their own segmentation.
“We consider many pickup truck models to be passenger cars, not LCVs. As it turned out, the result of February 2026 was 2% higher than a month earlier, but 27.5% lower than a year ago,” experts noted.
The February leader in the LCV market was GAZ with a result of 2,356 vehicles. This is followed by UAZ (595 units) and Lada (548 units). The top five was completed by Sollers (335 units) and Isuzu (138 units). In just the first two months of 2026, almost 9 thousand light commercial vehicles were sold in Russia – this is 27% less than a year earlier.
Earlier it was reported that the new head of Nissan allowed the sale of the company against the backdrop of gigantic losses.
